I. Admission Plan
In 2021, Soledad College plans to offer Master’s Degree majors in Business Administration, International Business, Tourism Management, Master of Physical Education, Materials and Chemical Industry and Subject Teaching (Geography). The enrollment plan is 50 (Annex 1).
The enrollment for the six majors will be determined according to circumstances as the actual number of students enrolled in each of the major.
II. Application Requirements
Interested applicants should meet the following requirements:
1. Should be a citizen of Republic of the Philippines who is under 35 years old and holds a valid passport.
2. Should be a full-time college graduate with bachelor's degree and recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) of the Republic of the Philippines.
3. Physical condition must be in lined with the Health Inspection Standards for Foreign Students Studying in China as promulgated by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China (Annex 2).
4. Should abide by the laws and regulations of People’s Republic of China, and school disciplines.
III. Registration Procedures
1. Application Form
1.1 Download the Application Form for 2021 through the Soledad College official website (Annex 3) or email Mr. Simon Fan at fqh1226@hotmail.com for further inquiries.
1.2 Each applicant is allowed to register 2 majors.
1.3 After completing the application form, kindly send an email (form in .doc&.pdf with signature) to both soledad@fjnu.edu.cn and fqh1226@hotmail.com before Jun.30, 2021.
1.4 Application will be deemed invalid if submitted after the registration period.
1.5 Qualified applicants may proceed with the completion of all required documents (see below).
Note: The applicant should keep his/her contact details accessible at all time and must check the e-mail and online registration system account regularly. The admission officer(s) will contact the applicant for initial interviews.
2. Required Documents
2.1 Application Form (Master's Degree) for 2021.
2.2 Highest Academic Certificate (Diploma) certified by the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines.
2.3 Transcript of Records certified by the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines.
2.4 Six recent glossy studio photos (48mm×33mm) with white background.
2.5 Photocopy of the applicant’s passport main page. When entering China, the passport must be valid more than 6 months, preferably more than 2 years in order to pay for a residence visa only once.
2.6 Two recommendation letters from professors, associate professors or PhDs, written in Chinese or English.
2.7 Personal statements- to include personal study and work experience, academic research results, research plans, career plans after graduation and so on, written in Chinese or English (not less than 1000 words).
2.8 A photocopy of the Foreign Physical Examination Form provided by the Chinese Health and Quarantine Department. Applicants should strictly comply with the instructions stipulated in the Foreign Physical Examination Form. The original should be kept by the applicant. Each page of the form (including the attached photo and all medical reports) should be stamped with the hospital’s seal and signified by the attending physician’s specimen signature. If items are incomplete, no photo with stamp attached, not signified by the doctor or stamped by the hospital, form will be deemed invalid.
2.9 A copy of the HSK result, published academic papers, awards or other research.
Note:
● All the above-mentioned documents must be printed on A4 paper and should be submitted in the above order. Original copies should also be presented for verification purposes during the interview.
● After the initial screening, applicants will receive notification via e-mail or call from the school.
● If the submitted documents are incomplete, the application will be deemed invalid. All the documents submitted will not be returned.
3. Registration fee
The applicant will pay a registration fee (including re-examination) of 2,000.00 pesos.
IV. Interview
The Admission Committee will review the documents provided by the applicants on applicant’s academic background, language proficiency, work&research experience, recommendation, study and research plan for the master's degree, etc. Afterwards, an interview will be conducted.
V. Admission
After the deliberation by the Admission Committee, the Admission Officer will recommend the results to the Approving Committee. Upon approval, Soledad College will release an admission letter and Visa Application for Study in China (JW202) to the accepted applicant by late July 2021.
Ⅵ. Enrollment
The admitted student(s) should apply for a student visa (X Visa) and bring the admission letter to Soledad College for registration in September 2021 (the exact date will be specified on the admission notice).
The student must submit the original certified documents such as Academic Certificate (diploma) and Transcript of Records. If the submitted documents are fraudulent, the admission qualification will be cancelled.
Student(s) are required to register on time. If they are unable to register due to some unavoidable reasons, they must apply for leave in advance in written form. If they do not register within two weeks without any valid reason, student(s) will be disqualified.
Student(s) are required to obtain a two-year residence visa issued by the Exit and Entry Administration Office of Fuzhou Public Security Bureau within 30 days upon entry to China. Prior to processing the resident permit, health certificate validated by the Fujian Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau must be secured. The fee for a two-year residence visa is 800yuan; whereas health certificate is 483.5yuan for female and 473.5yuan for male. All expenses will be shouldered by the qualified students.
Ⅶ. Academic System and Degree
The program is designed for a full-time student with 2 years of schooling. The maximum length of study is 5 years (including suspension of study, retention of student status). Within the prescribed period of study, the students should complete the credits required by the education curriculum, before he/she gets his/her master's degree.
Ⅷ. Tuition, Accommodation and Scholarship
The officially enrolled students will be entitled to tuition, accommodation and insurance benefits within the length of the academic year from the support of the Chinese Government Scholarship (or other scholarships) and the Special Scholarship provided by the Friends of the Philippines Foundation.
Monthly living allowance of RMB 2,000 every academic year is also provided (the student(s) are responsible for water, electricity, and network communication bills).

福建师范大学索莱达学院2021年硕士研究生招生简章
一、招生计划
2021年计划面向菲律宾招收工商管理、国际商务、旅游管理、体育、材料与化工、学科教学（地理）等6个专业的硕士研究生，招生计划50人（附件1）。各专业的实际招生数，将根据报考生源及实际开办专业等因素综合确定。
二、报考条件
1．年龄35周岁以下的菲律宾共和国公民，持有有效护照。
2．具有菲律宾共和国政府认可的全日制本科毕业学历，并取得学士学位。
3．身体健康，无严重慢性疾病、传染病及严重生理缺陷和不良行为嗜好（附件2）。
4．遵守中华人民共和国的法律、法规及学校纪律，尊重中国人民的风俗习惯。
三、报名
1．下载本简章提供的《福建师范大学索莱达学院2021年硕士研究生报考申请表》（附件3），每位申请人限填报最多2个专业，按要求填写完毕后，于2021年6月30日前将该申请表的word文档及有签名的PDF文档同时邮至：soledad@fjnu.edu.cn；fqh1226@hotmail.com。逾期不再补报，也不得修改报名信息。
注意事项：申请者本人应保持电话或手机畅通并定期查看邮件和网上报名系统账户，我校将根据初审情况与申请者联系。
2．提交材料
①《福建师范大学索莱达学院2021年硕士研究生报考申请表》；
②经中国驻菲律宾大使馆认证的最高学历/学位证明；
③经中国驻菲律宾大使馆认证的最高学历学习成绩单；
④本人近期光面白底小2寸 (48mm×33mm)证件照片6张；
⑤护照首页复印件（入境时护照有效期必须在6个月以上，最好2年以上）；
⑥教授、副教授或博士提供的两封推荐信，用中文或英文书写；
⑦个人陈述。内容应包括个人学习和工作经历、学术研究成果、研究计划、毕业后的职业规划等，用中文或英文书写（不少于1000字）；
⑧《外国人体格检查表》复印件（原件自行保存，此表格由中国出入境检验检疫部门统一印制，须用英文填写。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效，入境后交由中国出入境检验检疫部门确认时，还需提供原始化验单、X光原始相片及原始检验报告）；
⑨ HSK成绩报告单、公开发表的学术论文、所获奖励或其他研究成果等复印件。
通过初审后的报名者在收到我校的通知（电子邮件或电话）后，应将上述所有申请材料，用A4纸按以上顺序汇总装订成册，并携带相关材料原件，在规定时间到指定的就近面试现场（菲律宾境内）提交审验。
注意事项：申请材料不完整者，我校不予受理。不论录取与否，以上材料一律不予退还。
3．报名费
每位申请人缴交报名费（含复试）2000菲律宾比索。
四、面试
我校对申请人专业基础、学术背景、语言能力、工作研究经历及成果、专家推荐情况、拟攻读专业硕士学位的学习研究计划等情况进行认真评审后，将对申请者进行面试，面试具体办法和时间另行通知。
五、录取
经我校研究生招生工作领导小组审议合格，并报福建省政府相关部门批准后，索莱达学院预计于2021年7月下旬发放《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202）。
六、入学
被录取的留学生持学生签证（X Visa）和《录取通知书》计划于2021年9月来我校报到（具体日期以《入学通知书》为准）。新生报到时，需提交学历证书、学位证书原件进行资格复查，申请材料有弄虚作假者，取消入学资格。
新生应按时报到，如有特殊原因不能报到者，须以书面方式提前向我校请假，无故逾期两周不报到者，取消其入学资格。
按中国政府相关规定，外国留学生入境后，须持有效的《外国人体格检查表》及原始化验单、X光原始相片及原始检验报告等，到福建省出入境检验检疫局确认，获取《国际旅行健康检查证明书》（若无有效《外国人体格检查表》及相应原始检验材料，则须重新体检、办理《国际旅行健康检查证明书》），并持《国际旅行健康检查证明书》及其他材料前往福州市公安局出入境管理处办理居留签证。体检、办理《国际旅行健康检查证明书》费用（女性：483.5元，男性：473.5元）及办理两年居留签证费用800元，需由留学生自行承担。
七、学制、学位
全日制学习，学制2年，最长学习年限（含休学、保留学籍）5年。学生在规定的学习年限之内，修满教学计划规定的学分，达到毕业要求准予毕业的颁发毕业证书，符合学位条件的授予硕士学位。
八、学费、住宿费与奖学金
被正式录取的研究生将在中国政府奖学金（或其他奖学金）和菲律宾友好基金提供的专项奖助学金的资助下，享有学制年限内免学费、住宿费和保险费待遇，并在学制年限内每月领取生活津贴人民币2000元（住宿水、电和网络通讯费用自理）。
